New oatmeal! I was so excited for this breakfast. I had to take a breakfast break about half through though. The good thing is that it is like getting to have two breakfasts.
Ingredients:
1 cup water
Dash of salt
1/2 cup oats
1/2 a banana, mashed
1/2 cup blueberries
2 TBSP ground flax
1 TSP honey
Cook oats in boiling water salt mixture. About five minutes. Next, remove from heat and add banana, blueberries and flax. Mix well, put in serving dish/bowl and drizzle with honey.
The honey isn’t necessary, it’s pretty sweet without it. It was really heavy too, lots of ingredients. So I’ll mess around and let you know how it goes. Also, you could use frozen blueberries, you’ll just need to thaw them, or toss them in with the boiling water.
